a note before leaving.....

Village Rose by Mary Kosary

Last year when way out Texas way - Tyler/Noonday, I had the honor of meeting Mary Kosary - I've followed her blog filled with her lovely rose and still life paintings, so it was great meeting her in person and to have her as a student in the workshop was an added bonus. Just one of the wonderful things that happen when you become an instructor is that sometimes a student will really work a technique instructed and make it their own. Mary is such a wonderful and prolific watercolorist, and is always challenging herself. When you visit her blog and you will, know that Mary starts her adventure with "Village Rose" on the July 25th post and finishes on the  July 28th post.  http://marykosary.blogspot.com/2011/07/village-rose.html

Joyce and I are fixin' to leave tomorrow - September 11th for Cincinnati, OH where F&W Media is located. We are shooting 3 DVDs for the ArtistNetworkTV - We have been working hard to make this happen and I still can't believe its happening so soon! Whew how time flies......

Anyway I will miss my Tuesday evening bunch of artists and thought I'd post a couple of images from last Tuesdays class.

My website was created and maintained using FrontPage. Yahoo is no longer supporting FrontPage, so I am in the process of learning a new web program. The site will still be up, but I don't know how the behaviors will behave! Will find out soon enough - Yahoo stops their support on the 12th of September.  This gives me an opportunity to learn something new, and to change how the site will look and what I want to say....

Thanks for stopping by
